Chair
William A. “Bill” Orndoff lives in Stephenson and has served as a director from the city of Winchester and Clarke/Frederick counties since 2015. He is currently board chair.
Bill is a bi-vocational pastor, currently serving the Rockland Community Church. He is the owner of Sanctuary Builders, LLC, and represents the Stonewall District on the Frederick County Planning Commission. Previously, he was the vice president of rental and customer service for Winchester Equipment, and before that was the owner-operator of Clearbrook Feed & Supply, Valley Lawn Service and Black Heart Stables.
Bill holds an associate’s degree in Applied Science-Agricultural Business Management from Laurel Ridge Community College. He is credentialed at the highest level, Director Gold, through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.
Bill is a member of the Clear Brook Volunteer Fire Department, where he previously served as fire chief. He is also a member of the Frederick County Republican Committee. On his path to becoming a pastor, Bill was a certified lay speaker with the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church. Bill was also active with the Frederick County Fair at an early age; he was named Outstanding Youth Frederick County Fair in 1976 and held FFA positions of president, vice president and sentinel in high school. He received numerous contest awards, including third in the nation in 1983 on the parliamentary procedure team.
Bill and his wife, Amy, have one son, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Leslie.
