Brian is a lifelong resident of Page County and has served as the director for the Page County seat since June 2018. He currently serves as the chair of the Compensation & Benefits Committee and is a member of the Governance Committee.

Brian is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Virginia and has been named a Super CPA by Virginia Business and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has over two decades of business experience as a public accountant, community bank executive, investor and civic leader in the Shenandoah Valley.

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics from Eastern Mennonite University, a master’s degree in accounting from James Madison University and a Master of Business Administration from the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia.

Brian has served the community in various roles through the years, including as treasurer of Choices Council on Domestic Violence; trustee and past treasurer of the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation; treasurer and past master at Lafayette Lodge No. 137, AF & AM; past treasurer of the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce; and member of the Luray Rotary Club.

Brian lives in Luray with his wife, Jenny, a kindergarten teacher at Luray Elementary School, and their two children.
