Third-party notification is an additional notification procedure that permits members, on an optional basis, to designate a third party such as a relative, friend, power of attorney or other individual to be notified of pending termination of electric service for failure to make the required payments.
At the time a notice of pending termination is issued for the member, the designated third party will also receive a notice stating that pending termination is imminent.
