Beginning Friday, March 27, Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative encourages members to take advantage of remote payment options as well as kiosks and drop boxes at all office locations for members’ convenience.

The cooperative asks that members consider using electronic methods for account access at this time. There are multiple ways for members to choose for making payments, including the MySVEC mobile app, SVEC’s online account and payment system (www.svec-online.coop) or phone (1-800-234-7832).

SVEC’s front offices are closed until further notice. Effective Monday, February 1, drive-thru windows will be open for payments only. Effective Monday, December 7, SVEC limited operations activities to responding to emergency calls and outages. The operations department will be evaluating the completion of pending service requests, submitted as of December 7, on a case-by-case basis. Requests submitted after that date may be subject to delay.

The cooperative is following guidance being provided by local, state and federal governments to do what is possible to participate in social distancing, helping the community remain safe and well during this time.

SVEC will continuously respond to changing information from local and national health agencies.
