Your Electric Bill
Electric bills are mailed to all consumers on a monthly basis. There are approximately 30 to 31 days in the service period for each billing cycle, depending on holidays and unforeseen circumstances. Bills are mailed on or around the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, and 30th of the month. Bills are due and payable upon receipt. If payment of the bill is not received in full by the late payment penalty date on the bill, a late payment penalty will apply.
You may mail your payment to our office in the form of a check or money order (please do not place cash in the U.S. Mail) using the return envelope included with the bill. You may also pay your bill at any SVEC office during regular business hours.
For the most convenience, use our checkless payment plan. Just sign up for SVEC Eazy Pay and we'll automatically deduct the payment from your bank account on the due date shown on your statement. Click here for more information.
SVEC uses AMR (automatic meter reading) to obtain the reading to be used for billing purposes. Because of this new technology consumers no longer have to submit meter readings.
