Load Management

Load Management is a program SVEC uses to help keep rates stable when the demand for electricity is at its peak.  SVEC installs a free load management switch on member-owners' water heaters, which allows SVEC to automatically operate the electric water heater during peak demand periods as a means of reducing its wholesale power costs.

You will still have the hot water you need, and most people don't even know when the Load Management System is operating.  When the switch is installed, you will receive a FREE water heater inspection, and a FREE water heater blanket.

Please visit our Load Management FAQs page for more valuable information regarding this program.
